Yonezu Kenshi is the author, composer, and performer of the song Lemon. The Unnatural Death director requested that he write a song that would “gently hug folks who are hurt.” The drama’s central theme is death, and Yonezu intended for the song to serve as an echo of that theme by drawing attention to “death.” When the song was being written, Yonezu was already mentally and physically worn out and his grandfather had just passed away. He began to reflect on the meaning of death as a result, and he began to feel and think about it more thoroughly. His grief and longing for the loss of his loved ones, as well as his own reflection on life and death, were all combined into the song, which was penned in memory of his grandfather.

I hope to convey death in my comic with the same warm emotion as the song, which is inspired on the second version of the song. Based on this, I made Ace, the male character of the comic, a young boy who died having lost his memories. As his memory returns, Ace discovers that he has passed on and is reunited with his loved dog in paradise, putting an end to all of his regrets.
